Refund Policy

The American India Foundation Trust (AIFT) appreciates your generous contributions to support our mission. As a nonprofit organization, AIFT relies on donations to fund its programs and initiatives aimed at creating a positive impact.

All donations made to AIFT are non-refundable. Once a donation has been processed, it cannot be refunded, canceled, or transferred, except in cases of:

Duplicate Transactions – If a donor accidentally makes multiple payments for the same donation, AIFT may, at its discretion, refund the duplicate amount upon request.
Erroneous Transactions – In cases where a transaction was made due to an error (e.g., incorrect amount entered), a request for correction may be considered on a case-by-case basis.

Refund Request Process

If you believe that a donation was made in error, you must submit a written request for a refund within 7 days of the transaction date. Requests should include:

Full name of the donor
Transaction details (date, amount, mode of payment)
Transaction reference number
Reason for the refund request

Please send refund requests to donation@aif.org. AIFT reserves the right to review each request and determine its eligibility. If a refund is approved, it will be processed through the original mode of payment within 30 (thirty) days of the request.

Tax Benefits and Compliance

Donations to AIFT may be eligible for tax exemptions under applicable laws. If a donation has already been claimed as a tax deduction, it will not be eligible for a refund.
